At Home with Amy Sedaris had a special Premiere Screening for crew and cast that were involved in the production of season 1. I was so surprised to get an invite.
It turned out to be my first official red Carpet type of thing. There were so celebs there and many talented actors. Paul Dinello and Amy Sedaris of course, Michael Shannon, Michael Stipe (surprise), Sarah Jessica Parker and loads of others all brushed past me! (Im one of those “bold on stage shy in person” types so no I did not go around introducing myself! L
We watched the screening (held at the lovely Bowery Hotel in Manhattan) and everyone was laughing throughout. One of the more positive and least stuffy events I’ve been to in a long time, a “bologny tower” inside as part of the apperti table in one of the room helped melllow the mood and make it fun, not to mention the Open Bar! I am forever grateful to Paul Dinello for pulling me into doing a bit part that day and I hope one day I get to work with them again!
